The VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is Austria’s largest curated design festival and takes place for the 15th time this year. The festival, which shows year after year that Vienna is a “City Full of Design,” invites everyone—from heavy users to passersby—to discover something new. And all that with free admission. The festival focuses on the diversity of today’s concept of design and the benefits of design for society. Product, furniture, and industrial design, architecture, graphic and social design as well as experimental and digital approaches illustrate this in the form of an average of 230 events at over 40 venues during the 10 festival days.
Local potentials are networked internationally—to be experienced by participants and visitors. Proven festival formats meet progressive focal points, crucial additions come from numerous Program Partners.
This year the focus is on Vienna’s 20th district: Brigittenau. Come on over!
