The exhibition CLIMATE PANDEMICS takes science fiction, especially climate fiction, as the starting point for artistic reflection. In conversation with Marlies Wirth, the two Vienna-based artists Kerstin von Gabain and Ivan Pérard will introduce their works and underlying ideas: the fossilized bones and aDNA (ancient DNA) sequencing of long extinct species and the theory of self-replicating molecular nano technology (gray goo scenario).
